Tra il mare e Lucca, in un piccolo borgo, una piccola costruzione su due livelli a servizio della piscina.
Il progetto ha inteso separare le diverse funzioni raggruppate dentro un unico semplice volume.
Un locale tecnico, con spogliatoio e bagno, con accesso diretto dalla zona piscina; una camera ospiti con bagno con accesso e zona riservata sul retro; un unico ambiente al piano superiore che funge da soggiorno con una cucina a ‘scomparsa’, una terrazza con accesso esterno, una zona pranzo all’aperto.

Il progetto ha inteso esaltare il rapporto tra la costruzione ed il contesto, splendido, in cui è inserita.
Esterno ed interno si alternano nella funzione di inquadrare e di essere inquadrati, in un gioco di ruoli che ha lo scopo di annullare il sottile diaframma che li separa. La fruizione dello spazio è indotta sempre in maniera dinamica, favorendo un continuo mutare del punto di vista e delle relazione tra l’ospite e gli spazi, e tra gli spazi stessi, lasciando che la natura circostante sia la costante.

Le scelte architettoniche, inoltre, sono mirate alla ricercata rinuncia del superfluo, all’epurazione di ogni simbolismo formale, a favore di un atteggiamento etico e rigoroso verso l’ambiente.

Between the sea and Lucca, in a small village, a small building on two levels serving the pool.
The project intended to separate the different functions grouped into a single simple volume.
A technical room, with dressing room and bathroom, with direct access from the pool area; a guest room with a bathroom, with access and a reserved area at the back; a single room on the upper floor that serves as a living room with a “foldaway” kitchen, a terrace with external access, an outdoor dining area.

The project aimed to enhance the relationship between the building and the splendid context in which it is inserted.
Exterior and interior alternate in the function of framing and being framed, in a game of roles that has the purpose of nullifying the thin diaphragm that separates them. The fruition of space is always induced dynamically, favoring a continuous change in the point of view and the relationship between the guest and the spaces, and between the spaces themselves, letting the surrounding nature be the constant.

The architectural choices, moreover, are aimed at the sought-after renunciation of the superfluous, at the purge of all formal symbolism, in favor of an ethical and rigorous attitude towards the environment.
